  • Demonstrate professional communication skills in education-based scenarios.
  • Apply Illinois Essential Employability Skills to real classroom situations.
  • Evaluate workplace professionalism using a rubric aligned to state standards.
  • Reflect on their own career readiness strengths and growth areas.

TIME FRAME

• This lesson will last approximately 1 class period – 45-50 minutes.

PROCEDURE:

• Pass out student handout
• 5 min – Bellringer
  10 min – Mini lesson
  30 min – Stations (6 minutes each)
  5 min – Exit Ticket
• Rotation Tip:
  Set a timer. Groups of 4–5. Assign one facilitator per group.
